Halfway Point

Twelve weeks ago I challenged myself to complete a series of blogs where I tackle Christian words that are often overused, misused, or misunderstood. I call the series Christianese A-Z. Of course I wanted to be done by now, but like the Seahawks in the game today...I won't give up until the game is over...except I don't plan on losing.
I'm halfway through the alphabet and looking towards the goal. I've really enjoyed writing the series. Who knows...maybe I'll do something more official with it when I finish. Below are the words I've covered so far with links to those posts. I must confess, I'm stumped for the letter N, but I'm sure something will come to mind. (not that I'm opposed to suggestions)
Since I won't have NaNoWriMo, Christmas, surgeries, and vacation in the way, I hope to complete the second half in less than twelve weeks. Thanks for cheering me on, thus far.
So.... N...hmmmm. *sigh*.

This is the year of completion. We start and complete. Start and complete! Wow! What a concept. :)
You're doing GREAT, Mari! Have loved every one of these. Keeping "N" in the back of my mind - if I can think of something, I'll let you know. "New" is the only word that comes to mind, but that's not Christianese. Pondering...
I've REALLY enjoyed the series and think you SHOULD do something with them. The only "N" word that's coming to mind is a name: Nebuchadnezzar.
When I first became a Christian, and I read it in the Bible, this is how I'd say it: ne buch (German pronunciation of book) chad ne zar. The first time I heard someone TALK about the king using the proper pronunciation, I was like: who's that?
But that's not really helpful, is it?
